Color indication and status

The distinctive blue indicator changes color as moisture is absorbed, turning pink when saturated. An initial color shift does not imply depletion, so you can continue using the beads until the pink hue becomes solid.

Reuse, care, and reactivation

When the beads darken, you can reactivate them and reuse them multiple times. Oven reactivation is recommended: spread beads in a single layer and bake at 176–248°F (80–120°C) for 1–2 hours until they return to blue. For small batches, microwave cycles of 3–5 minutes at 30–50 percent power work well; stir and repeat until blue. Do not exceed 300°F (150°C) or use full power to avoid damage.

The 6 LBS desiccant beads come in a heavy-duty double-sealed airtight barrel to minimize premature moisture exposure. For best contact, transfer to breathable organza bags, which makes it easy to deploy and retrieve beads when needed.
