Amazon Basics 100% Blackout Curtains with Grommets – Dark Gray, 52 x 96 Inches, 2 Panels

Upgrade any room with the Amazon Basics 100% Blackout Curtains. This set of two panels arrives in a sleek dark gray, designed to cover wide windows and create a clean, modern look while offering practical light control. Each panel measures 96 by 52 inches, making them a versatile choice for standard and larger windows alike.

Light control begins at the fabric. The curtains are engineered to block sunlight and UV rays, helping to reduce glare on screens and protect interior colors from sun fading. In everyday use, you may notice a calmer ambiance as daylight softens into you, whether you’re watching a movie, working from home, or winding down for the evening. The heavy feel of the fabric also acts as a gentle buffer against street noise, contributing to a more comfortable space without the need for heavy drapes.

Privacy is another key benefit. When drawn, the curtains create a barrier that makes it harder for outsiders to view the interior, which can enhance peace of mind in busy city settings or shared living spaces. The grommet-top design accepts standard curtain rods, enabling quick installation and a clean, tailored drape in seconds. The inner diameter of each grommet is 1.5 inches, a practical fit for most common rods and hardware.

Beyond aesthetics and function, these curtains resonate with eco-conscious choices. They are made from 100% Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified recycled polyester, blending sustainability with dependable performance. This material choice supports everyday utility while aligning with responsible production practices that many shoppers appreciate.

Care and maintenance are straightforward. The panels are machine washable, which helps simplify regular cleaning for busy households. If wrinkles appear after washing, you can use a steamer or iron to refresh the fabric, while avoiding direct contact with the front-facing surface. This approach helps preserve the fabric’s finish and color, keeping the curtains looking fresh over time.

For a streamlined setup, pair these curtains with coordinating room decor. The dark gray tone complements a wide range of color palettes, from cool neutrals to richer accent hues, and right away create a cohesive, polished look. While outcomes can vary by room and lighting, many shoppers find that the curtains contribute to a more comfortable environment for everyday activities, rest, and entertainment.
