Description
xRefined, Hands-Free Kitchen Waste Management
The EKO Madison 50L (13.2 gallon) matte black step trash can combines a premium stainless steel build with a fingerprint-resistant finish. This design choice helps reduce visible smudges and keeps the can looking cleaner in busy kitchens, while pairing neatly with stainless, white, or black appliances and decor. A generously sized interior accepts standard kitchen bags, so you won’t need special orders. The built-in deodorizer compartment tucked under the lid helps maintain a fresh scent between bag changes, and the removable inner liner includes a bag fixer slot to prevent slipping during changes.
Practical performance meets daily reliability. A rugged 200,000+ step pedal ensures smooth, hands-free disposal as you prep, cook, or clean. The lid features a soft-open/soft-close damper to minimize noise and the occasional slam that can interrupt a peaceful kitchen routine. For longer tasks, the stay-open lid option keeps the lid upright, making liner swaps, bag changes, or wipe-downs easier without rushing.
Maintenance is straightforward: a quick wipe with a soft cloth helps keep the finish polished. The can’s dimensions are designed to fit beside cabinets or islands without feeling bulky: about 16.9 inches wide, 14.3 inches deep, and 25.4 inches high, with the lid open height at 36.6 inches. It is compatible with standard 13.2 gallon bags and is intended to work well with EKO bag options. The inclusion of bonus trash bags means you can start using it right away while you source the right bag size for your space.
